Fox News just blew past CBS and NBC to become the second-most watched network on all of television. Let that sink in. The so-called “legacy media” dinosaurs just got stomped by the cable network liberals love to hate. And it’s not even close anymore—Fox isn’t just winning in cable news, it’s dominating across the board.
For years, the liberal media elite scoffed at Fox News, calling it “fringe” or “propaganda.” Meanwhile, they were busy running their own ratings into the ground with stale stories, fake virtue-signaling, and endless Trump-bashing. Turns out, Americans are over it. They want real talk, not Democrat talking points dressed up as news.
According to the latest Nielsen report, Fox News has averaged 3,222,000 viewers year-to-date in the weekday primetime slot. CBS, which previously garnered the second top spot, got 3,168,000 viewers, and NBC, got 3,062,000.
The Five, remains Fox’s most popular show. It averages 3.7 million viewers and 298,000 in the key 25-54 demographic, making it not only Fox’s most dominant show, but the most-watched show in cable news.
Greg Gutfeld’s late-night show, Gutfeld!, is still beating the pants off of all other late-night shows. Gutfeld! averages 2.5 million viewers at the 10 PM ET slot, while CBS’s The Late Show with Stephen Colbert drew, on average, 2 million viewers. ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! pulled in 1.8 million viewers, and NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon pulled in a measly 938,000 viewers.
But Fox News didn’t just dominate the evening hours. It’s daytime shows consistently beat the other network’s shows as well. In fact, Fox News’ captured 88 of the top 100 cable news telecasts. The Will Cain Show averaged 2.1 million viewers at the 4 PM ET time slot, besting NBC’s Today Third Hour. The Faulkner Focus and America’s Newsroom also posted higher viewership numbers than ABC’s GMA3 and NBC News Daily.
Two of Fox’s weekend shows also beat out cable and network shows as well. Kayleigh McEnany’s Saturday in America and Maria Bartiromo’s Sunday Morning Futures ranked as the most-watched cable news shows on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
This isn’t just about cable news anymore. Fox is now a major force in mainstream television, period. Only one network ranks higher—and no, it’s not some liberal darling. It’s proof that media bias is costing the left more than just credibility—it’s costing them viewers. Millions of Americans are done with the hand-holding, fact-twisting nonsense from the alphabet networks. They’re tuning in to Fox instead. While CBS and NBC chase woke trends and obsess over identity politics, Fox is talking about border security, crime, freedom, and yes, holding the Biden clown show accountable when it matters.
If this keeps up, CBS and NBC might need a bailout. Maybe Biden’s leftover campaign crew can help them spin that into a “win.”
Perhaps it’s segments like the one below, a news story none of the other networks dared to touch, that is landing Fox News’ more and more viewers.
