The Atlantic ranks among the most scurrilous media resources in terms of so-called “anonymous sources” when publishing hit-pieces on Republicans. It was the Atlantic that published what has been dubbed among the worst phony reports during the run-up to the 2016 election, regarding former Pres. Donald J. Trump. Without a single reliable source, the liberal extremists at that rag went to press accusing the pro-military president of making insulting remarks about American soldiers. The false report set off a firestorm that allowed other fake news outlets to echo the lies.
Now the Atlantic wants to take a bizarre victory lap because Fox News has lost its conservative edge. While that may be true, those snowflakes would be wise to look at the changing conservative landscape.
