Former Trump Campaign Aide: The Deep State is Real

Former Trump campaign aide and Citizens United President David Bossie told Lou Dobbs of Fox Business this week that prosecutors in the FBI and Department of Justice were interested in targeting President Trump ever since he took office.

Bossie agreed with President Trump’s assessment that the Justice Department “has elements within it that are still acting as if they were reporting to Eric Holder.”

As early as mid-July Barack Obama holdover CIA director, John Brennan, said at a conference that “Executive branch officials have an “obligation … to refuse to carry out” outrageous or anti-democratic orders from President Donald Trump.”

Michael Crowley, senior foreign affairs correspondent for Politico, wrote about Brannan’s statement in “The Deep State is Real”. In that article, Crowley did his best to make light of the concept of a shadowy unelected brain trust out go stop President Trump. Even so, he admitted, “Americans might be foggy about what, exactly, the deep state really is. But Washington they know—and know they hate.”

As Crowley grudgingly admits, the truth is that a “large segment of the U.S. government” carries on its business “without much transparency” and abuses it powers in numerous ways.

But the Deep State is different in the U.S. As Steve Bannon notes, “There’s nothing ‘deep’ about it. It’s right in your face.”

Watch the video as Bossie details the depths to which the Deep State reaches in our government bureaucracies.
