The Department of Justice and the FBI are clearly out of control. A lot of people on the right would like to see FBI headquarters demolished and everyone in the DC bureau fired and permanently banned from ever holding a job again. Especially after the unprecedented raid on President Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago.
One question many folks have is whether the rot is a leadership problem, or whether it permeates the entire FBI? There really haven’t been a lot of FBI whistleblowers to come forward and describe what’s really happening behind the scenes. Not many people at the FBI are quitting their jobs over being asked to needlessly harass Trump supporters and pro-life leaders.
Richard Grenell was the US Ambassador to Germany in the early days of Donald Trump’s first term. When Grenell was reassigned as Acting Director of National Intelligence in 2020, he finally took a blowtorch the Russia collusion hoax.
