The Democrats only strategy heading into the 2024 election is to fear-monger their voters into believing that Trump is some kind of evil fascist who wants to take away their rights – but Tulsi Gabbard just PROVED why that won’t work.
Gabbard, a former Democrat Congresswoman joined former MSNBC anchor Chris Matthews on the Real Time With Bill Maher show.
Maher and Matthews are both vehemently anti-Trump above anything else, and as such, they decided to spread some more of their fearmongering trash about the kind of tyrant that Trump will be if he gets back into the White House.
To do this, Matthews started out on the issue of abortion, arguing that by the Trump appointed justices helping to overturn Roe v Wade and putting the decision back into the hands of the states, Trump had “taken away people’s rights.”
While it certainly says something about the people who hate Trump that they think murdering unborn children is a “right” – that’s a separate discussion altogether.
Matthews went on to say that this is indicative that Trump is interested in removing people’s rights and “we don’t know where it’s going to end.”
Maher, for his part, agreed with the washed up liberal media host by suggesting that Trump is a loose cannon because he’s “crazy.”
However, Gabbard absolutely shut this entire narrative down in mere seconds, pointing out that the kind of tyranny they’re saying Trump will embrace has ACTUALLY happened with the Democrats in charge.
Tulsi points out that the leftists in power are EXACTLY what they’re warning Trump will be – power-crazed fascists.
