You’re probably familiar by now with some of the more outlandish expenditures of your tax dollars by the US Agency for International Development (USAID). While the transgender operas and comic books in South America and other ridiculous expenses got a lot of headlines, it’s difficult for most people to wrap their heads around just how extensive and corrupt USAID really was before President Trump shut it down.
USAID is obviously a CIA front and many people have a sense that it’s meddling in a bunch of different areas around the globe. Former CIA analyst Mike Benz knows more about how the agency meddles in foreign and domestic politics than anyone.
For example, rather than spreading American values around the world like we used to, USAID pushes explicitly anti-American agendas. There are a number of NGOs operating in Great Britain, for example, that are dedicated to government censorship of the British people. USAID funds all those operations with your tax dollars.
Instead of spreading the American ideal of freedom of speech to backwater communist countries and dictatorships, USAID actively tries to expand censorship and limit speech.
That’s just the tip of the iceberg, though. The agency has funded Black Lives Matter, George Soros’s rogue prosecutors who won’t enforce the law based on the race of violent criminals, and much more.
