Florida Man So Drunk He Got a DUI on a Walmart Scooter

“Florida Man” news stories are almost always entertaining. There’s just something about the Sunshine State that seems to bring out the weirdness in some people.

When their outlandish antics make the news, Florida Man always seems to entertain news watchers or leave them shaking their heads in confusion.

This week, Florida Man got so drunk that he got a DUI on a Walmart putt-putt scooter.

Walmart employees in Melbourne, FL called 911 when they noticed that Florida Man was driving around a scooter and getting increasingly drunk from an open bottle of vodka. He started wrecking the cart into store shelves and knocking items to the floor. Very slowly.

Florida Man also nearly swerved into multiple customers, who ended up complaining about him to clerks.

When the cops finally arrived, Florida Man was so blitzed that he was basically non-functional. It was a struggle to get him to finally pull his ID out of his pocket, and there were some real concerns that he was going to projectile vomit at any moment.

He was ultimately arrested and given medical treatment. So, if you’ve ever wondered if a person could get a DUI on a Walmart scooter while inside the store, the answer is “Yes.”

Here are the latest adventures of Florida Man:
