President Donald Trump made liberal heads spin when he urged SECDEF Pete Hegseth to fire “every single” general involved in the DISASTROUS 2021 U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Occurring on Democrat President Joe Biden’s watch, the Afghanistan withdrawal was hands-down one of biggest failures in American history – and there have been ZERO consequences for the leaders who let it happen.
Trump wants to change that.
When a Fox News reporter asked Trump if all of the generals or command staff involved in the botched withdrawal had been fired, Trump said, “well that’s a great idea!”
“I’m not going to tell this man what to do but I will say that if I had his place, I’d fire every single one of them, Pete,” Trump responded before turning to Hegseth who was sat next to him.
Of course liberal media, who seem content to pretend like the Afghanistan failure never happened in the first place, while try and spin this like Trump is a “maniac who is rapidly ordering Generals fired” but we all know that’s not the case.
Firing these generals is the only way to prevent more tragedies like Afghanistan from occurring in the future.
If the Democrats try and say anything else it’s simply because they WANT America to fail!
