Christopher Steele was reportedly offered $1 million by the FBI for evidence that any of the outrageous claims he was making in his infamous Steele Dossier were true– even the Russian pee tape.
According to FBI analyst Brian Auten, who testified in court recently, the bureau desperately wanted Steele to find evidence corroborating the wild allegations made within the dossier in order for the heavily politicized federal agency to bring down Trump and were willing to pay up for it.
Auten said he and a group of FBI agents met with Steele in October of 2016, at which point they offered him the $1 million prize if he could produce the evidence to support the dossier.
Steele was never able to find any evidence according to the analyst, who says in turn, he never received the money.
This revelation serves as even further proof that the FBI is completely corrupt. They knew looooooong before the information was made public that it was a lie, yet they let the Trump is a Russian plant narrative persist and grow, ostensibly to hurt Donald Trump’s presidency.
Auten also stated that in October of 2016, the FBI had no evidence to corroborate the dossier, but decided to use it anyways to obtain FISA warrants which allowed them to spy on President Trump’s campaign.
Their efforts to obtain the FISA warrants marked a clear abuse of power which Republicans will likely investigate should they manage to regain the congressional majority in 2022.
