Facebook CENSORS Project Veritas for Legit Reporting on COVID-19

The Washington Times reports that Facebook censored a video posted by James O’Keefe of the conservative watchdog group, Project Veritas, for “violating the platform’s rule against sharing misinformation” about COVID-19.

O’Keefe, posted the hidden-camera sting video Tuesday through various social media accounts, including his personal Facebook page.

The 9½-minute video banned by Facebook was recorded from inside O’Keefe’s vehicle as he chronicled his visit to a drive-thru testing facility in New York state.

Mr. O’Keefe can be seen throughout the video pressing medical and military personnel for answers to his questions about the severity of the coronavirus pandemic and the media’s coverage of it.

At one point in the video, O’Keefe says, “I’m speaking with these Army guys. I mean, they’re basically just telling me it’s just the bad flu … It’s not as bad as the media is saying and everything.”

Versions of the video remain on YouTube and Twitter, with CNN reporting neither company has determined the video violated any of their platform’s policies.

O’Keefe lashed out at CNN’s Oliver Darcy for tweeting Facebook’s policy violation involved: “Equating COVID-19 with the common flu could cause people not to take the advice of medical professionals and thus contribute to the virus’ spread.”

Odd, since mainstream media labeled previous viruses as “flu”. Like Avian and Swine flu.
