Elon Musk Has Ruined Twitter for the Elites and It’s Pretty Hilarious

Elon Musk has shattered one of the features of Twitter that had been used to create a caste system on the internet. As of this week, anyone can now become a “Verified Blue Check” on Twitter. What a lot of people didn’t realize is that if you were denied blue check status on Twitter under the old management, it was a way of excluding you from the public conversation.

Celebrities, journalists, and really important people like liberal elites were all blue check verified, but lots of others weren’t. No matter how popular their Twitter feed was, some people could not get verified because Twitter’s woke management and staff didn’t like their politics. Libs of TikTok is the perfect example. They have 1.5 million followers, but they were denied blue check status on Twitter.

Anyway, if you were an important person with a blue check, you could enjoy using Twitter with your other important liberal friends and not have to worry about some icky everyday person ever invading your notifications tab. It kept the little unimportant people out of the way of super important libs like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).

That all changed this week, when Musk started selling blue check status to ANYONE who ponies up $8 a month. AOC is already freaking out, because the little serfs that she never had to listen to before are now blue-checked, and they’re trolling her notifications hard.

Check out comedian Mark Dice explaining how Elon Musk has now ruined Twitter for the libs…
