Minnesota’s AG Keith Ellison Dismisses Church Storming: “Live With It”

If you’re a Christian in Minnesota hoping to worship in peace, the state’s top law enforcement officer has a message for you: suck it up.

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison (D-obviously) just told Christians that having their house of worship stormed by left-wing radicals mid-service is “just something you’ve gotta live with.” That’s not a joke. That’s an actual quote. And it came during a livestream with none other than Don Lemon—the fired CNN reporter who joined the protesters chanting and breaking up the Baptist church service.

The whole thing started when a group of anti-ICE protesters barged into Cities Church in St. Paul during Sunday services. They interrupted worship, terrorized families, and turned a sacred space into a political circus. Instead of condemning it, AG Ellison jumped on a livestream to say, in effect, welcome to America—this is how we do things now.

“The protest is fundamental to American society,” Ellison said, as if that gives anyone the right to trample on someone else’s First Amendment freedom of religion. He then added, “I think it’s just something you’ve just gotta live with in a society.”

That’s rich coming from the same party that throws a legal fit every time a conservative so much as breathes near a drag queen story hour.

And let’s not forget Don Lemon, who was right there on the scene, livestreaming the chaos like it was a TikTok challenge. He felt it was ok to stop Christians from worshipping God to interview the paster mid-service. Now, he’s under legal scrutiny himself. Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon warned Lemon might’ve crossed the line from “journalist” to “co-conspirator.” You can hear Lemon chanting with the protesters to stop the church service–that’s more than what any member of the press would call unbiased journalism.

Federal statutes like the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act and the Ku Klux Klan Act could actually be used to prosecute those who stormed the church. Yes, the same laws used to protect abortion clinics can also be used to protect churches. Imagine that.

This isn’t protest. This is harassment. This is intimidation. And in Ellison’s Minnesota, it’s apparently just business as usual.

Watch the video to see exactly what kind of madness these radicals—and their Democrat enablers—are trying to normalize.
