Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) either had a few too drinks before this interview or the Democrats are rewriting history again (maybe both) to make people forget that they installed Vice President Kamala Harris as their candidate in the 2024 election.
Pelosi sat for an interview with Kadia Goba a leftist reporter for an outlet by the name of Semafor.
Goba asked Pelosi to give her thoughts on an open primary and Pelosi responded by claiming that the Democratic party had an open primary and Kamala Harris “won it.”
“We had an open primary and [Harris] won it because nobody else got in the race because she’s politically astute,” Pelosi said.
Mind you – Pelosi was one of the key names responsible for ousting President Joe Biden as the candidate and replacing him with Kamala Harris which makes it even more odd that she’s now pretending as though the voters actually chose Kamala.
Pelosi went on to say that there “was a thought” for the Democrats to “show [their] talent,” because “[they] have a great bench” but they felt it “wasn’t necessary.”
So not only is Pelosi trying to change history to say that Kamala won the nomination through an open primary, but she’s also subtly bragging about the fact that they didn’t have to have a REAL open primary because they know they can just tell their voters who to support.
These people are straight-up tyrants.
