Drug Cartels Rapidly Expanding into Canada to Stay in Business

The Trump administration has full operational control of the southern border for the first time in American history. That’s amazing, but what about our northern border? There are still serious problems there. And the international drug cartels aren’t willing to just let their business of poisoning Americans dry up.

Katarina Szulc is an investigative journalist and documentary filmmaker. She’s one of the foremost civilian authorities on drug cartels and organized crime in the world. The information she’s been uncovering on cartel expansion in Canada is truly scary.

According to Szulc, the cartels are gaining a foothold in Canada like never before. Organized crime in Vancouver, BC, has been wiped out by the cartels through a series of assassinations. The cartels are paying Canadians and the massive immigrant communities in Canada and Europe $55,000 to carry out hits on local drug dealers.

While the Trump administration is focusing intently on the US-Mexico border, the cartels have their sights on the US-Canada border. We might need another wall before this is all over.

As Chinese cargo ships are undergoing more intense inspections to stop the flow of fentanyl precursor chemicals, Szulc says the cartels have set up a lab in Kenya. Ships from Africa are now carrying those precursor chemicals. And the Port of Vancouver only inspects less than 1% of all cargo ships.

Szulc sat down for an interview with the Shawn Ryan Show recently to talk about how the cartels are adapting to the Trump administration. Watch:
