We’ve almost completed three years under the leadership of President Trump. They’ve been an eventful three years, packed to the brim with real and false drama. Looking back, it’s easy to see how some things have changed. The economy is amazing, and somehow, we finally seem to be less at war than we’ve been for the last 20 years or so.
We’ve even reached a point where we aren’t incessantly comparing President Trump to Barack Obama. But, that’s not very fun, so let’s see how the two compare after their first three years on the job.
Near the end of 2011, Obama had officially declared the recession over, even though unemployment was still above 10 percent. He had expanded our interventions in the Middle East, and he was dusting his hands after a completely bungled withdrawal from Iraq.
He was calling ISIS the JV team, and Obamacare was taking its first steps to destroy our healthcare system. With all of those accomplishments, his approval rating was 43.9 percent.
At the same point on the job, President Trump is overlooking record-low unemployment. The economy is booming on all fronts. ISIS is in tatters. We’ve withdrawn from global conflict without promoting new terrorist regimes, and all of our biggest enemies are on notice.
It shouldn’t surprise you that people are happier with President Trump than they were with Obama. That’s why his aggregate approval rating is currently 44.3 percent.
The crux of this is the mainstream media. You know they’re insanely biased, but this video can prove and measure that bias. When you factor media bias into the equation, you can see that President Trump is wiping the floor with Obama in terms of approval.
