Donald Trump Scores Major Win in Case Against FBI over Mar-a-Lago Raid

Biden’s weaponized DOJ is losing it after a judge handed President Trump a major victory in his efforts to defend himself against the FBI’s politically motivated raid on his Mar-a-Lago home.

A U.S. District Judge, Aileen Cannon, has approved a special master to review all documents taken from Trump’s home during the raid. The special master will be a neutral third party agreed upon by both sides and ultimately appointed by the judge.

Cannon said that the court was “mindful of the need to ensure at least the appearance of fairness and integrity under the extraordinary circumstances presented” in granting Trump’s request.

The ruling marks a big win for Trump as the DOJ was fighting to ensure that there was not one appointed to this case, but the judge shut them down by calling them out for leaking evidence which could cause harm to the former president.

“In addition to being deprived of potentially significant personal documents, which alone creates a real harm, Plaintiff faces an unquantifiable potential harm by way of improper disclosure of sensitive information to the public,” Cannon wrote.

The judge further noted that by allowing a special master, the public would be more trust in the justice system.

The addition of a special master also forces the FBI, at least temporarily, to halt their investigation into Trump.
