DOJ Refuses Document Request to Media, Still Trying to Cover Up Ukraine Whistleblower

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton is suing the CIA and the Department of Justice for refusing to confirm or deny the existence the Ukraine whistleblower’s text messages and emails. Fitton says this is a coverup of monumental proportions…and it’s all to the benefit of the Democrats.

According to The Washington Examiner, ranking member on the House Intelligence Committee Rep. Devin Nunes gave Inspector General Michael Atkinson until the end of today (Feb.28, 2012) to, “hand over information that could help illuminate questions surrounding the timeline and procedural protocol used to vet the whistleblower complaint that centered on Trump’s July 25 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.”

The whistleblower, now believed by many to be career CIA analyst Eric Ciaramella, filed an official complaint with Atkinson’s office in August which the IG determined to be “urgent and credible.” That sparked the House impeachment of the President, followed by his acquittal by the Senate.

Nunes expressed his particular concern with changes that were made to the complaint form just days before impeachment hearings began, saying, “The investigation is particularly focused on the guidelines that appeared on a whistleblower complaint submission form that was changed — after the submission of the whistleblower complaint — to eliminate language excluding hearsay information.”
