The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) team and its leader Elon Musk recently sad down with Fox News host Jesse Watters to discuss some of their findings in just the first 100 days of their existence, and they revealed that they have found so much government fraud they are now “numb” to it.
The sit-down gave a live look into the kind of meetings that DOGE has to discuss the never-ending instances of fraud funded by our tax dollars.
One DOGE member began the meeting by noting that the Department of Education had a $4 billion fund where spending was NOT TRACKED AT ALL. Department officials would use these funds to rent out pricey venues such as sports stadiums for parties and other unnecessary events.
When DOGE came in and required that these DOE employees upload receipts to show how they were spending the money – the spending mysteriously stopped.
“That was the only change made – you must upload your receipt – and upon doing so nobody drew down money anymore,” Musk said.
Another member shared that they had found the Small Business Administration was giving out roughly $330 million worth of loans to dead people and babies…
They were even giving loans to people who have not been born yet, with birth dates 100 years in the future.
At one point Watters asked which agency had been the most aggressive in terms of refusing to work with DOGE and one staffer revealed that, ironically enough, it was one named the United States Institute of Peace.
“We went into the agency and found they had loaded guns inside of their headquarters. Institute for Peace,” the DOGE staffer stated.
Not long after entering the headquarters for this agency, DOGE found that they had deleted “over a terabyte of accounting records from several years” presumably to conceal contracts like one $130,000 payment to a former member of the TALIBAN.
This deleted data was eventually recovered by the team, and it showed all unspent money from the $55 million a year Congress granted the agency was placed into “a private bank account which has no congressional oversight and that’s what they would use to fund events at their headquarters and the private jets.”
This is insane. And to think, they STILL have only discovered a small percentage of all the ways that our government has been abusing us and stealing our tax dollars to fund their luxurious lifestyles…
