If you thought Disney’s new CEO was actually going to put an end to the company’s ‘Woke’ freefall – think again. The company has officially announced their plans to close one of their most popular attractions,
Splash Mountain, because, according to them, it’s ‘racist.’
The iconic ride apparently features “racist undertones” due to its association with a 1946 film “Songs of the South,” which critics say is an “insensitive portrayal of plantation life.”
This is not the first time that the woke left has come for Disney’s Splash Mountain and defending the ride from attacks it faced just a few years back, the company said, “Splash Mountain has never included depictions of slaves or any racist elements.”
They added, at the time “it’s absurd to pander to a small group of Disney haters.”
However, Disney’s current decision to bow down to the woke mob and end the ride signals how far left the company has shifted in recent years.
It also reveals everything that is wrong with leftist culture, as they put all their focus on doing things to simply virtue signal, rather than solve any of the real problems they claim to be so concerned about.
If the left actually cared about black Americans as much as they pretend to, they would act to solve real problems.

I will never go to Disney, I did once many many years ago when my kids were small and noone even liked it then, so if they woulkd happen to close down I think that would be good for everyone, they are just sick pedophiles!!!

Splash mountain was the first ride that I took 30 years ago when I freshly came to the US and visited the Disney. I think it is the part of which made Disney famous and also part of the American culture. It is sad to see 246 years old American culture is destroying by the woke in less than 2 years.

I am “white” and wish to differ with the above comment. It is not the “blacks” who are pushing this stupidity, it is a core of persons out to destroy America. I grew up in the south. Even as a very young person, I could not understand why our town had two parts, our school was segregated, our homemaking class received new sewing machines and the old ones were given to the blacks. I said, “This is not right!” Thank God, this was changed by the civil rights movement, and our children, regardless of their color, went to school together. I have seen countless times on Facebook, little boys (not brothers) wanting to dress alike because they say they are twins…one black and one white! I love it! I say, if you leave it to the children they will solve the problem!

Bring back the “Song of the South. It was a great kids movie, and did not teach racialism. Disney could go belly up for all I care. If you look at many Disney kid shows, they are full of brainwashing innuendos. If you want your child to grow not knowing who or what he or she is, just keep letting them watch this crap.
