Disgraced Former FBI Head James Comey Caught Lying under Oath

Do you remember when President Trump claimed in March that Trump Tower had been wiretapped by the Feds?

Well, as it turns out, Trump was right! Or at least, that’s what Judge Andrew Napolitano believes in this clip from Fox’s Mornings with Maria.

As Napolitano explains, former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort had been under investigation by the FBI for several years, including during the time prior to when Trump announced his candidacy for the presidency. During this period, the FBI had wiretaps on Manafort, which it discontinued for lack of evidence but later re-initiated for reasons of suspected collusion with Russian officials — this has been publicly admitted by an internal source.

Also during at least some of this period, Manafort lived in a condominium in Trump Tower. So of course, a big question is, was this condo — or the communications from or to it — under surveillance? According to testimony under oath to the Senate Intelligence Committee, former FBI Director James Comey said he knew of no wiretapping at Trump Tower. The current head of the National Security agency, Mike Rogers, also stated that he knew of no such wiretapping. So, the big question is, was Comey (or Rogers) lying?

And of course, whether they were or weren’t, there are larger questions of why Manafort was being wiretapped in the first place and where recordings of his calls (especially with then-candidate Trump) were going. Were they being fed to the campaign of Democrat Hillary Clinton by the FBI or the Department of Justice at the behest of the Obama administration?

These are very important questions to answer, as both Napolitano and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee discuss. Watch, as the more we learn about Comey, the less it seems like he may have been telling Congress the whole truth about both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.
