For some reason it seems like everyone around Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, the Democratic vice presidential candidate, has decided to support President Donald Trump in the 2024 election!
First it was Walz’s entire family who endorsed Trump several months ago, warning that Walz should not be anywhere NEAR the White House.
Now, the entire Minnesota town where Walz is from is saying they’re voting Trump!
Minnesota based news outlet Alpha News sent a reporter to the city of Mankato, to get a feel for how residents from Walz’s hometown were leaning in the 2024 presidential race.
EVERY SINGLE PERSON that Alpha News interviewed said they were supporting President Trump 100%.
Walz worked as a teacher and football coach at Mankato High School for 10 years and evidently he didn’t leave the best impression on residents of the Minnesota town.
“We’re both voting for Trump. It’s really the only option,” one couple told Alpha News reporter Liz Collin.
Another person said while they didn’t vote for Trump last time, he certainly will be this time.
Other voters in the area straight up said they “don’t care for the man really, but that’s who they’ve picked,” referring to Tim Walz.
In 2020, Mankato voted for Democrat President Joe Biden but these people who know Tim Walz better than anybody are planning on voting to keep him out of the White House.
If this trend spans across the state then Trump could shock the world and be the first Republican president to win the state since Richard Nixon won it in 1972.
