HBO Host Bill Maher is a lifelong Democrat who has spent the past 10 years trashing President Donald Trump but now, he seems to have a new target – the Democratic party.
After spending much of his career worshipping the ground that the Democrats walk on, Maher attended the White House to meet President Trump in person and his entire tone changed.
After the meeting, Maher delivered a monologue to effectively say that the “evil” President Trump he and others in the media have shown the world is not the real Trump.
Clearly, the meeting went well.
After that, Maher spoke out on his podcast about why he thinks the Democratic party is in trouble.
Maher attempted to deliver the party a brutal reality check – telling them that it’s time to cut the woke crap… or face extinction.
The lifelong Demo argued that his own party has been hijacked by far-left cultists who are steering it off a cliff by obsessing over woke things that the majority of Americans don’t actually support.
“A lot of people would say right now the Democratic Party is in [Cult] mode, which is going to render them, possibly an irrelevant party if they don’t change.”
Maher said if the Democrats hope to have any sort of a future, they need to abandon the radical left… but it’s not seeming like they’re going to be willing to do that anytime soon.
If even Maher is saying this out loud, the Democrats must be in serious trouble!
