Did Hell Freeze Over? CNN Host Praises President Trump for his Coronavirus Response

That Donald Trump is still President may have driven House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to distraction (where has she been in this crisis?), but he has picked up some unlikely allies during the current Coronavirus crisis.

CNN’s Dana Bash went against the grain on the air this week, saying, “Trump is the kind of leader that people need … in times of crisis and uncertainty.”

In January, CNN host Chris Cuomo praised Trump’s State of the Union address, saying the President “celebrated what the country is about.” That was followed this week by New York Governor saying President Trump has set the tone that will “make you proud to be an American.”

Speaking of the President’s State of the Union address, Cuomo said, “The president … celebrated what the country is about … our diversity, how we overcome, how we come together.”

Little did the country know how soon President Trump would be called upon to lead the country through the darkness of a debilitating pandemic.

In his State of the Union address, the President said, “This is our glorious and magnificent inheritance … America’s the place where anything can happen. America is the place where … the most incredible dreams come true.”

Bash told her viewers, that Trump has set the tone for such a time that people are desperate to hear. Watch the video to hear the reasons this CNN reporter says President Trump is the leader America needs.
