Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) refused to hand over Ryan Routh, the man responsible for the second assassination attempt on President Donald Trump, to the feds and that’s already proven to be a MASSIVELY important decision.
Earlier this week, Governor DeSantis announced that Florida would lead the investigation into Routh and the assassination attempt while warning that the federal government and the agencies that work for it CANNOT be trusted.
On top of that, DeSantis said that Routh committed more severe violations of state law than he did of federal law so it only makes sense.
Early on in the investigation, the FBI has already proven that Gov. DeSantis made the right call in not trusting them.
The governor revealed that the FBI has actively been trying to BLOCK state investigators from getting answers because he believes they don’t want the state of Florida involved in the investigation.
Fox News’ Laura Ingraham asked, “Are the feds being cooperative with your investigation? Are you concerned that you’re not getting the information you need?
DeSantis said that the federal agency is absolutely not being cooperative and it has him concerned that a COVER-UP is underway.
As the governor points out later in the interview, we still have not gotten answers about the first assassination attempt which happened back on July 13. The FBI infamously scrubbed evidence at the crime scene and secretly ordered the shooter’s body to be cremated before anybody could examine it further.
For whatever reason, the FBI covered up the details surrounding the first assassination attempt and now they’re trying to do the same for the second.
