They say that the only certainties in life are death and taxes. There are probably a few updates that could be added to the list. Socialism will always fail. Good intentions don’t guarantee good ideas. Maybe at the top should be that politicians will lie.
They’ve been lying so much for so long that we’ve all just sort of accepted it. We count on politicians to be dishonest. Maybe it’s a defense mechanism so we don’t feel betrayed. Maybe it’s nihilism creeping into our daily thoughts. Whatever the source, it’s not good. Politicians need to be held accountable for their lies.
It’s one thing to be unable to keep a bold promise. It’s another to deliberately deceive the American people. It’s worst of all to lie under oath. President Clinton did that. It was technically illegal. His punishment was a cushy retirement and multiple book deals.
Obama lied consistently too. He ordered multiple illegal military inventions over his eight years. Not one of them had Congressional approval, and all of them left hundred — if not thousands — of innocents dead and suffering. His punishment looks a lot like Clinton.
In the meantime, Trump is facing punishment for the lies of people around him. He’s been the best president in history at keeping promises, but some of the people he hired, on recommendation by the RNC, have turned out to be poor choices. In the end, the entire situation is pure hypocrisy, and it is such because we allow liberals to have a voice. This video will show you just how deep the damage runs.
