After historic wildfires tore through the Los Angeles area earlier in the year, becoming one of the most prominent news stories in the country for weeks, Democrats saw an opportunity to capitalize on a major crisis.
Several prominent liberal politicians and their celebrity pals hosted a fundraising event called “FireAid.” This event was supposed to raise money for the victims affected by the California wildfires.
While they had no issue raising the money, raking in roughly $100 million from generous donors, apparently NONE of that money actually found its way to people who lost their homes in the wildfires!
Independent investigative journalist Sue Pascoe began looking into this and discovered that the organization that hosted the fundraiser decided not to give the money directly to the people who it was raised for, but rather, to give the money to various non-profit groups.
This means that rather than the funds actually going towards helping people rebuild as the donors intended, the funds are likely going to land mostly in the pockets of the executives who run these non-profits, which in, all likelihood, are Democrats.
“This ‘benefit concert’ might be one of the biggest scams in disaster fundraising history,” said independent journalist James Li on X.
But for the Democrats, it’s just another opportunity to scam the American people and line their own pockets!

Democrats and celebrities raised $50m for the victims of the Los Angeles fires. But where did that money actually go? Not to the victims but rather nonprofits and into the pockets of high-salary executives and staff teams. pic.twitter.com/JVr8NvBqrq
