Anyone who was born after 1980 might feel like this country has never been so divided. The simple truth is that we largely had 30 years of genuine prosperity. A lot of that credit belongs to Ronald Reagan. The things he did right were so powerful and effective that even a Bill Clinton presidency couldn’t completely negate them. That’s saying something.
When you look at current division, it’s clearly partisan. The right and left are spewing venom at each other to an extent we haven’t seen in more than a few decades. Many wonder if a new civil war is brewing. But, if you take a closer look, that’s not a fair depiction at all.
How many videos have you seen on college campuses? Even though mainstream media tells you that President Trump is the source of division, it’s clear that the far-left is aggressive, violent and completely intolerant on every campus in the country.
The truth is that it runs a lot deeper than the infantile tantrums of collegiate leftists. The entire Democratic Party is responsible for this division. They lied to us for years about Russian conspiracies. As soon as they were proven wrong, they jumped on a narrative of Ukrainian conspiracies.
