Mainstream Media Accused of Worsening Coronavirus Panic, Video Goes Viral with Proof They Project Fear

Frequent TV host, addiction specialist and medical physician Dr. Drew Pinsky told host Larry O’Connor of the Washington Examiner’s podcast Examining Politics, that the “media should be ashamed of themselves” for creating “panic” during the coronavirus pandemic.

Recalling the response to H1N1 during the Obama administration, Dr. Pinsky reminded listeners that virus was far worse than COVID-19 at the same stage and the media gave Barack Obama a pass for waiting six months to do anything about it. He said, “I don’t claim to know what’s motivating the media, but my God, their reporting is absolutely reprehensible.”

Pinsky said the only source we should take advice from is Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Fauci has been an advisor to the past six Presidents. He is also President Trump’s chief advisor in this current crisis.

Pinsky said of Dr. Fauci, “Do what he tells you and go about your business. That’s the story. Do not be alarmed by the word ‘pandemic,'”

Dr. Drew told CBS News that the media was “stoking the flames” of coronavirus “panic” in the United States and should be held to account for its reckless reporting.

Watch the video and listen to how the media is making this pandemic worse and more from Dr. Drew on what to do during this outbreak.
