Democrat’s Impeachment Proceedings Will Go Nowhere, Hurt Party Says Alan Dershowitz

If you’re surprised that the Democrats are still trying to impeach President Trump, you haven’t been paying attention. Let’s take a quick stroll down memory lane and really dissect their impeachment campaign. It’s worse than you remember.

The first-time sitting members of Congress called for an impeachment of Donald Trump was in December of 2016. If you recall President Trump wasn’t sworn in until mid-January 2017. That’s right. They were trying to impeach him before he even took office.

It didn’t seem to matter to them that it was legally and procedurally impossible. All that mattered was that he was a political opponent and they would do anything they could to get rid of him.

From there, you remember the story. We endured roughly two years of made-up collusion stories. When all of the smoke cleared, we still had President Trump and no evidence that he should be removed from office. Since then, we’ve seen a multitude of new, fizzled impeachment efforts.

This brings us to today. Alan Dershowitz is a law professor at Harvard. He’s a liberal who voted for Barack Obama. He’s looking at the latest excuse to try and abuse political power to target President Trump, and he isn’t impressed.

He clearly states his views in this video. Impeachment isn’t just a stupid plan from the Democrats; it’s going to hurt their political standing too. Watch the video, because you’re going to need to understand what’s wrong with the impeachment efforts. The left isn’t going to stop, so we’re going to have to keep debunking their stupidity.
