Democrats Can’t Survive without Using Race as a Weapon

That’s exactly it!

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich hits the nail on the head in this brief clip in which he talks about how Democrats like Hillary Clinton (who’s shown in the first minute of the segment) can’t get anyone to sympathize with her party without squawking about highly polarizing issues such as racism.

When President Trump spoke last weekend about the Colin Kaepernick-inspired protests that were happening around the NFL when the national anthem was played, he was very specific to avoid mentioning race; to Trump, the whole matter is a question of patriotism, respect for our country’s flag (and anthem) and an issue of athletic professionalism.

Democrats like Clinton know that unless they can tap into the emotions that topics such as race stir up, they have no hope of being able to convert voters to their platform. Of course, the only trouble is that economics ultimately “Trumps” emotion; you can’t rob someone blind and then say that a vote for Black Lives Matter will solve their financial problems.

Figures such as Gingrich and Breitbart News Chairman Steve Bannon have repeatedly said they look forward to Democrats continuing to talk about race because ultimately, it’s a complete loser at the ballot box.
