With all of the backlash that President Donald Trump has received over his handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files, Democrats are suddenly pretending to care, but why didn’t they release the files anytime in the last four years while they were in charge of the White House and Congress?
Democrats have been trying to seize on Trump’s vulnerability on the matter. Top members have been going on every media show that will have them to ding the President. They say he must be hiding something, or that he’s covering up his own involvement with Epstein, or worse that he’s covering for his friends. None of which is true, but Democrats motto is not to let a crisis go to waste.
In a rare moment of honesty. MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough called out Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) for exactly this.
“But, congressman, you could’ve gotten that from [2021] to [2025] when Democrats controlled the DOJ. It was a crisis then. It’s a crisis now. Why didn’t Democrats call for it from ’21 to ’25?” Scarborough asked Raskin point-blank.
Raskin’s answer revealed that, per usual, he doesn’t really care about the issue. The only thing he care’s about is trying to turn the American people against their president.
“So, uh…the, I mean… you have to go back, uh… and look specifically at uh… particular prosecutorial…decisions and what was taking place in terms of the other cases.”
Probably realizing what a horrible answer this is, he then said, “So, I don’t know,” he then admitted. “We could try to reconstruct that record, but the point is Donald Trump…”
The truth is the Democrats NEVER cared about transparency on the Jeffrey Epstein files or client list, but now they’re pretending to because they’re desperately trying to score points with the American people – even if it means lying through their teeth to do so.
