Another iconic restaurant has fallen victim to the Democrats horrendous policies and is being forced to close dozens of locations – making it impossible to ignore the catastrophic impact that leftist policies have on American businesses.
The latest casualty of leftist policy is a restaurant named Rubio’s Costal Grill which has been left no choice but to shut down 48 locations all throughout the communist state of California.
“The closings were brought about by the rising cost of doing business in California. While painful, the store closures are a necessary step in our strategic long-term plan to position Rubio’s for success for years to come,” they announced in a statement.
Rubio’s started out as a walk-up taco stand in San Diego back in 1983, eventually becoming a legendary American success story and growing to more than 200 locations across the west coast.
Authoritarian pandemic-era policies placed a significant strain on the business and forced them to drop down to 134 locations.
But it was California Governor Gavin Newsom’s newest law, which forces fast food joints to abide by a $20/hour minimum wage, that attempted to put the final nail in the coffin of Rubio’s.
While Joe Biden is wrecking our economy and sending inflation ever-higher, other Democrat leaders like Gavin Newsom are trying to finish the job by passing laws that sound good but actually hurt workers and make it impossible for businesses to operate.
Every decision the Democrats make is seemingly designed to DESTROY American businesses. The sooner we remove these Marxists from office the better!
