After a series of devastating wildfires destroyed thousands of homes in the Los Angeles area, residents have been unable to even consider starting to rebuild thanks to a mountain of red tape.
The city’s leftist leaders have come up with the most Democrat type of solution imaginable, and, boy, is it terrible.
LA’s useless mayor Karen Bass (D) put out a video advertising the “genius” solution.
Bass announced that she had set up a one-stop-shop for residents to meet with ALL 12 of the agencies involved the permitting process for rebuilding… yes, there’s 12 of them.
As the camera panned around the room you could see tables set up with 1 or 2 bureaucrats set up to represent each of the 12 agencies – pure nightmare fuel.
Somehow this Democrat mayor found a way to create an operation SO CHAOTIC that it makes the DMV look like it runs with the efficiency of a top-tier Chic-fil-A.
Imagine your house burned to the ground and now the government is punishing you further by forcing you to beg a bunch of miserable government workers to LET YOU rebuild your home….only for them to tell you that first you have to pay for them to study the impact it would have on transgender chipmunks in Mexico before you can be approved.
This is what voting Democrat get you these days. Even when tragedy strikes, Democrats do not make it easier for their supporters to get back on their feet fast and easily.
