Rep. Brittany Pettersen (D-CO) literally shed tears about the fact that she was “forced” to show up to work and vote on President Donald Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill.”
A teary-eyed Pettersen complained about having to fly back to Washington, D.C. to vote on the bill.
The Democrat said, “We were forced back here. I took a red-eye flight, I haven’t slept. We’re here being forced back to vote on this disastrous budget proposal [sniffles] that is going to decimate our rural hospitals, healthcare that families, millions of families across the United States rely on.”
“It’s hard to hold back the tears with how bad this bill really is,” a very emotional Pettersen continued.
Pettersen tries to play it off like she’s “upset” about the contents of the bill, but she’s actually just mad that she had to show up to work to vote on it!
Congresswoman Petterson is known for being dramatic. She brought her baby to the floor of the House despite there being taxpayer funded daycare on sight in the Capitol for those who work there.
Being dramatic seems to be a common thing about elected officials in the Democrat Party.
When the Senate was voting on the bill, Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) spoke to the media and complained that he had to miss out on a beach vacation to cast his vote.
“Oh my God, I just want to go home. I’ve already … I’ve missed our entire trip to the beach,” Fetterman said to reporters.
John Fetterman is mad he's missing his beach trip because he has to work for the American people and vote on the Big Beautiful Bill:

These people are paid nearly $200,000 a year with OUR tax dollars to “represent us” and yet, they cry about having to miss out on vacations because they have to work?
Insane. Watch the video here to see this Democrat crying about having to show up to work like the rest of the country.
Just got back to DC after flying over night because Donald Trump is forcing a vote on his devastating budget proposal.
It’s hard to hold back the tears when trying to articulate how bad this bill truly is and what it will do to families and communities across this country.… pic.twitter.com/ofrRHtEMxD
