Far-left Democrat Congresswoman Barbara Lee recently came forward with a story claiming that she was the victim of “racism” at the U.S. Capitol and people can’t help but notice how completely MADE UP the whole thing sounds.
We know how much the left LOVES to try and convince people that racism is a massive issue in America, ESPECIALLY when a presidential election is approaching.
But Lee seemed to take things to a new level, appearing to fabricate a bit of anecdotal evidence to support her claims about “institutional racism” being “embedded in the DNA of America.”
“I was walking from the House building on Capitol Hill to the Capitol and a man, a white guy, stopped me and told me I could not get into the members’ elevator,” Lee told CNN host Kaitlan Collins.
“And, you know, we have pins, and I was going to vote. And he blocked me from getting into the elevator and told me that I was not a member of Congress and it was for members only.”
In her story, she replied telling the man that she was a member of Congress and showed her pin, claiming that he suggested she stole the pin.
“Now this is an example of what personal racism is,” Lee alleged, “and how people of color have to deal with this each and every day.”
However, this all-to-convenient racist incident has been compared by many to the LIES told by former Empire actor Jussie Smollett, who hired actors to stage a hate crime and then used it to blame Trump supporters.
Watch the video here to see this leftist try – and fail – to push the same old tired narrative.
Rep. Barbara Lee: “I was walking to the Capitol and a man stopped me, a white guy, and told me I could not get into the members’ elevator…He told me it was for members only. I said, 'Sir, I’m a member of Congress' and showed him my pin. And he said, 'Whose pin did you steal?'" pic.twitter.com/RGhOpfTMjM
