We spent all of 2016 learning just how out of touch the DNC is with real Americans. They had absolutely no idea what Americans wanted from their politicians, and even record amounts of campaign spending couldn’t buy enough votes to keep Trump out of office. Keep in mind, Trump is a candidate who willingly alienated the entire progressive sect of America. That still wasn’t enough for the DNC to get a win.
Were they populated with competent, professional experts, we would be seeing an overhaul of the entire DNC platform. Instead, they have steered harder and harder into backwards policies and stances that have no chance of winning votes. Frankly, it’s amusing to watch. Trump has given them easy wins. He offered a path to citizenship for DACA recipients. He has set up massive tax cuts for the middle and working classes in America. And yet, the DNC has thumbed their noses at these policies on a matter of principle. They have to hate Trump, even when he proposes things that virtually all voters want.
It’s brilliant, really. Every time Trump gets Democrats to attack the wants and needs of everyday Americans, he sets them up for further defeat and humiliation. If they can’t figure out how to work with Trump soon, they might find themselves suffering historic defeats in November. This video is all the proof you need. Even MSNBC, probably the most left-wing major media outlet of them all, can’t get the Deputy Chair of the DNC to take a freebie.
