In his speech, we see President Biden parrot the fake news narrative that former President Donald Trump’s signature Tax Cuts and Jobs Act did not accomplish its goals. Nothing could be further from the truth. The GOP and Trump Administration spurred economic growth, reduced unemployment to record levels, and dropped the number of people in poverty to all-time lows.
The genius behind Mr. Trump’s America First tax cuts lowered corporate taxes from 35 percent to 21 percent, consistent with competing nations such as China. The facts are that previously offshored money was invested in the U.S., and working families saw increased good-paying jobs and rising wages.
In his first propaganda speech to Congress, Biden pretends none of that is true. In fact, he actually went on the record stating he wants to raise business taxes to a crushing 39 percent. We all know that helps China achieve its lust for economic supremacy.
