Former Trump advisor Peter Navarro has been sentenced to prison for “refusing to comply with a subpoena” in the sham January 6 investigation – but his real “crime” seems to be being a Trump ally!
Navarro didn’t comply with the subpoena because he claimed executive privilege which, under normal circumstances, would have protected him, but these are not normal times.
The crooked Biden Regime sought to make an example of Navarro, who remains a strong Trump ally.
Biden’s politicized DOJ sought to have Navarro thrown in prison for six months and an Obama-appointed judge (of course) was determined to do everything possible to help the DOJ get their way.
Judge Amit Mehta sentenced Navarro to 4 months in prison and ordered him to pay a $9,500 fine after prohibiting him from using executive privilege as a defense after DOJ prosecutors accused him of “hiding behind” that.
This is not only evidence of a two-tiered justice system where Trump and his supporters are held to a higher standard than Democrats are, but also proof of a justice system that has been completely weaponized to handle Joe Biden’s political adversaries.
Consider the fact that Hunter Biden is facing NO CHARGES for having refused to sit for a congressional deposition and it couldn’t be more clear, these people live by a different set of rules.
