Corey Booker’s 2020 Announcement Video is Cringeworthy Gold

If the rumors are true, Democrats are poised to field close to 40 candidates for the 2020 presidential nominee. They are literally lining up to be the sacrificial lamb in the 2020 Trumpslide. It’s like their greatest desire in life is to have their biographies right next to all of those exciting books about Michael Dukakis in the library.

The latest liberal to think he or she or ze is “the one” who will finally rid America of Trump and all of our peace, prosperity and freedom is Corey Booker. That’s right. Senator Spartacus. The guy who “broke the rules” during the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation hearings by releasing information that was already cleared to be released to the public. So brave. Just like Spartacus.

And as with all presidential launch campaigns, it begins with a heavily-produced video with sepia-toned images, orchestral music and shots of the candidate talking to people and looking very concerned for their pain. Actually, there was one campaign in modern history that began without a launch video (it involved an escalator and a glorious speech about Mexican rapists).

Senator Corey Booker is running for president guys! To give you an idea of how bad his launch video is, it starts out with a shot of a tractor on a farm. Because that’s what everyone thinks of when they think about the former mayor of Newark, New Jersey. Check out the video below where Ben Shapiro picks Booker’s launch video apart and see what you think of it.
