The Electoral College may vote to elect Joe Biden president, but it’s up to the Congress to certify that result. One House member promises to object, and he’s calling on all Americans to pressure their representatives to do the same.
Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) refuses to be a part of the “surrender caucus,” he told Lou Dobbs on Fox Business Network on Tuesday.
“I have a choice. I can either sit back and surrender and be a part of the surrender caucus or I can fight for our country. And that’s what I’m gonna do,” Brooks said.
That means that on January 6, when Congress is tasked with rubber stamping the Electoral College vote for Biden, there will be at least one congressman standing up to object.
If Brooks can find one US senator to stand with him, it will force both the House and Senate to vote on the merits of the 2020 election.
“I’m quite confident that if we only counted lawful votes cast by eligible American citizens, Donald Trump won the Electoral College, and we should not be counting illegal votes and putting in an illegitimate president of the United States,” Brooks told Dobbs.
Brooks cites the election clause under Aritcle I Section 4 of the US Constitution, which he says several states violated, resulting in a “systemically flawed election system.”
Despite outrage from Democrats against him, Brooks points to recent history of Democrats challenging presidential election results. In 2005, California Senator Barbara Boxer sought to deny President George W. Bush the electoral votes he won in Ohio. And in the 2016 election, House Democrats tried to deny President Donald J. Trump his electoral votes in Alabama and Georgia.
It is about time that a congreeman or senator has the guts to stand for what is right. Thank you Congreeman Brooks.

I’m with him all the way. Without verification of registered voters only being counted you are allowing for foreigners the right to vote in our election process and to manipulate the results. All anyone has to do in those states is to count only the registered voters. This doesn’t sound that difficult to me. That will prove who really won and that will restore the integrity of the election process. It’s not who won. We would support the winner no matter what as long as it’s the registered voters who belong here and who are alive. Mail in never worked before and it’s not working now. Just do the right thing. That’s all anyone is asking. It sounds good to count all votes but it really should be to count all registered votes I’m independent voter. I just want it to be citizens who are registered. We show id when getting on a plane but we don’t prove who we are when voting?? Even out of Biden’s own mouth that he won by mail in votes. That alone sounds weird and that something went wrong. The majority of legal voters agree that the 2020 election was fraudulent.
Many states should not be able to send their electorates to vote because evidence proves voter fraud.
Our Supreme court should immediately hear all the evidence and rule accordingly so America can have, at least some, trust that the legal votes are the only votes that were counted in this and all elections going forward.
