Republican congressmen Wesley Hunt (R-TX) and Byron Donalds (R-FL) joined the Sage Steele Podcast this week to talk about their time in Congress.
It was an interesting chat, because they talk about the shift of black voters away from the Democrats and toward Donald Trump, what it’s like being black Republicans in Congress, and a lot more.
Rep. Hunt uses the opportunity to talk about one of his favorite stories about President Trump’s time in office. You may or may not have heard the story before, but it’s worth hearing it again from Hunt’s perspective.
The story highlights one of the biggest differences between America’s standing in the world with a real leader, like President Trump, in charge, versus having a walking vegetable in the White House like Joe Biden. Other countries—especially America’s enemies—have zero respect for us right now because of Biden’s incompetence and weakness.
This puts all Americans in a dangerous spot. Our enemies are emboldened and know that they won’t face serious retaliation with a decrepit, senile husk running the show.
Good grief, the Houthi rebels (of all people) are sinking massive tanker ships in the Red Sea and Biden can’t even do anything about it. Does anyone doubt that China will retake Taiwan before the election?
Anyway, here is Rep. Hunt’s favorite all-time story about President Trump’s leadership style when dealing with America’s enemies. It’s awesome. Enjoy!
