Campus Reform reporter Ophelia Jacobson talked to students at the University of Florida about Biden’s plan to give migrants separated from family members at the border under the Trump administration, up to $450,000 per person.
In a move that’s surprised no one, every student told Jacobson that the amount of money was “extreme.”
“That is definitely an excessive amount of money… it does kind of bug me,” one student said.
“It does worry me because I don’t know if that’s the best place to put the money,” another student said.
Students admitted that it would be unfair for American taxpayers to pay for these payments to illegal immigrants.
“That’s something I actually hadn’t thought about until you said that,” one said. “The money does come from my taxes. I don’t think it’s the best thing, honestly.”
Students also spoke to Jacobson about what they believe Biden should be spending the money on instead.
“Give it to the American people,” one student said. “I feel like the American people come first in some sort of fashion.”
“This money should go back into things that I feel like would have a really big impact on like the future children of this country like education,” another student said.

Its obvious that you shouldn’t pay people for breaking our laws, entering the country illegally. That should be a no-brainer. The American people have been glutted with money. Its one of the reasons why people are not working. They are being paid to sit at home. All the stimulus money, covid money, just for having children more oney, that they throw at us. Extended unemployment money. In the meantime they print more money devaluing the dollar and causing inflation and ruining an economy that was doing well even in a pandemic. STOP SPENDING GOVERNMENT.

Funny, but so true! Biden is just doing as is told! Since the administration is OBama’s administration, i can only guess who is actually President. Obama once said, ” if he could, he would get someone else to run for President that could win, and he himself would run the country!” Giving him a thurd term. That i saw, on a video interview. So guess what? Could it be Obama pulling Joe’s strings? After all that election was stolen!! The Dems would and will do anything for power, to keep power, for their corrupt agenda!
How can this Regime even think about giving $450,000 to illegal immigrants when we only pay less out to families in insurance of fallen military members? If a US Citizen breaks a law and gets arrested…he is separated from his family. Why would the #$%*ing border be any different? They are given the opportunity to turn around and go back and stay with their family. They CHOOSE separation.

College student’s saying, oh ya that comes from our taxes…What are they taught ??? Is it anything about taxes and the IRS ??? Is it anything about working they’re way through life…Do they think it’s just a cake walk because parents pay the most for they’re education…It feels like my education taxes are just a social experiment…God help us…That’s a plea before God is stricken from our rights and turned into a terrorist…Dems are dopes…FJB…
if biden wants to give money to border crossers , help students pay their student loans , help begins at home.

Just wait until these students graduate and try to find a job in their field of study. College majors in Gender studies, African American Studies, Peace Studies, Dance studies, Golf Management, Renaissance Studies, International Studies and my personal favorite Feminist Theory. Company’s will be knocking on their doors, clamoring to please come work for us. These are mostly social justice warriors, and they’ll be living in mom’s basement for a while, it’s kind of like returning to the womb, so to speak. A safe space, where the mean old world can’t get to them. I’ve got my Xbox, my own television, my favorite movies and TV show on DVD, mom makes my favorite cookies when I’m feeling down. When life gets really bad, I still have my Star Wars lightsaber, it’s my security blanket.
