CNN had a full-on meltdown this week after one conservative dared to point out the obvious: Democrats will do anything—literally anything—for votes, even if it means dressing up like a character from a dystopian TV show to impress a niche voter base.
Scott Jennings, a host on Salem Radio Network, went on CNN and lit a match under their carefully crafted narrative. He called out Minnesota’s Democrat Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan for donning a hijab while praising the Somali community during a visit to a Minneapolis market. Jennings didn’t hold back, comparing her pandering to something out of *The Handmaid’s Tale*. Cue the liberal outrage.
“You gotta admit, though,” Jennings said, “the catering to the Somali community that goes on by the Democrats in Minnesota is a little weird, is it not?” Jamal Simmons, a former Kamala Harris aide, immediately tried to shut it down. But Jennings doubled down, saying, “They got the lieutenant governor up there dressed like *The Handmaid’s Tale*.”

That’s when CNN’s Abby Phillip lost it. “That is out of line,” she barked, accusing Jennings of “denigrating” Somali religious practices. But Jennings wasn’t mocking religion—he was mocking Democrats for using identity politics as a crutch, especially in a state drowning in fraud and scandal linked to the very community they’re pandering to.
And let’s not forget the real scandal here: Somali-run scams in Minnesota have reportedly looted over $9 billion from Medicaid and other welfare programs. Some of that money, according to federal investigators, may have even made its way to Al-Shabaab, a radical Islamic terrorist group. Yet when anyone dares to question why the Somali community is being placed at the center of Democrat politics, the left freaks out and cries racism.
Jennings is right. This isn’t about religion. It’s about Democrats playing dress-up while ignoring billions in fraud and silencing whistleblowers.
