Democrat Strategist and CNN contributor Van Jones said that the energy he felt at the Republican National Convention was something he hasn’t seen since Barack Obama’s nomination party in 2008.
“The last time I was at a convention that felt like this was Obama in 2008” Jones said. “There’s something happening.”
Despite being a devout Democrat, Jones admitted the truth. This convention felt electric. Over 18 million people tuned in to watch the first night of the Republican National Convention. That is HUGE numbers for TV.
Another CNN correspondent, Phil Mattingly, echoed Van Jones words by saying that he hasn’t seen this level of excitement behind a candidate sine several cycles. “The energy is just different,” admitted Mattingly.
But as we’ve all come to expect from CNN, Jones and Mattingly’s comments were met with the usual fire and brimstone from their rabid leftist co-workers. One of them claimed that the difference between Obama in 08 and Trump now is that Obama was “popular outside of his own party,” claiming that Trump is not.
However, the MILLIONS of Democrats who have abandoned their former party to back Donald Trump would certainly beg to differ, even if some Democrat pundits are still in denial about it. We’ve told you for months how Trump is making huge gains with black male voters. He’ll likely get the highest percentage of the black vote that a Republican candidate has ever gotten.
The Democratic party is in complete shambles as they can’t even seem to agree on who their candidate will be this November, and the Republican party has more momentum than ever before.
Watch the video below for the full commentary on what the few truth tellers left at CNN are admitting about last week’s RNC, and what it means for November.
