Here at Patriotic Viral News, we’re really big on honesty. But being honest doesn’t just mean telling the truth at all times- yes, it does mean that- but being honest starts inside ourselves. It begins with developing a lifelong habit of not lying to ourselves.
That means, if we’re getting a little wide around the midriff, for example- we don’t stand in front of the mirror, suck in our gut and say- “I’m not getting fat.” It means, if we have believed a thing based on the heft of authority and that thing turns out to be wrong, we don’t look for ways to diminish the evidence.
These might seem insignificant. But by practicing honesty within one’s self, we do not travel down the road that makes dishonesty to others so much easier.
This is what CNN does. To them, the truth is subjective. There are only two ways to arrive at that conclusion; you can lie to yourself constantly so that it’s hard to tell when you’re lying to others, or you can simply not care about the truth at all.
The consequences of not being honest are severe. It means getting caught, which for people with an intact soul, is the most humiliating thing imaginable. And that’s exactly what happens to CNN hosts on a regular basis.
