The cycle of controversy is exhausting. Every day someone new is crucified for saying the wrong thing. And, because the left loves to move the bar on a whim, there’s no telling what the “wrong thing” will be tomorrow. It’s an impossible game, and no one can win.
Unless, of course, you’re part of the far-left gang. They can say the most vitriolic and hateful things imaginable, and no one in the media bats an eye. It’s the boys clubs of old, but it exists in some twisted, disturbed modern nightmare. That’s what makes this week somewhat remarkable.
Sure, when Roseanne Barr went off the handle, you knew it was the end of her career. She was already on thin ice with mainstream media for having the gall to play a Trump supporter on TV (and not a very authentic one at that). What is surprising about this week is that someone on the left is actually in lukewarm water for the content of their speech. If you haven’t heard Samantha Bee’s disgusting tirade, you’ll get the edited version in this video. More importantly, you’ll see someone on the left have a sane, rational and honest reaction to it.
Make sure you’re sitting down before you watch this video. If you wear glasses, go ahead and give them a cleaning. You simply won’t believe that these words were said on CNN. Let’s give credit where credit is due. Congratulations Brooke Baldwin! You just broadcast the first honest piece of news on CNN in the better part of a decade.
