Sparks flew at a city council meeting in Newcastle, Washington, when a moronic far-left “activist” claimed that it was “disgusting” for city officials to fly a flag honoring Americans who were captured in combat over… the LGBTQ community’s pride flag.
The self-proclaimed activist, Jenn McAleer, claimed that the city’s refusal to prioritize the Pride flag over the Prisoner of War / Missing in Action flag was just a form of “tricking people” and that it was really just another way to “discriminate” against the rainbow community.
“My research shows that there have been 82,000 Americans who are registered as POWs or MIAs… But there are 20 million minimum LGBTQ members,” McAleer said.
“I think that your approach—trying to trick people out of having to fly the pride flag in June by making sure that the POW/MIA flag was flown—is really disgusting…I think that you should be ashamed.”
The deranged leftist probably thought she had a “gotcha” moment here… but it backfired…BIG TIME!
Newcastle Mayor Robert Clark exploded on her and reminded her of an inconvenient truth. “Hundreds of thousands of people d*ed for this country so that you could fly your pride flag.”
He continued, “I am pissed… While you can fly your pride flag, they sacrifice their lives all over the world for America and for freedom.”
Democrats like this activist always seem to think that they’re the most important, and nobody else matters. Whenever the attention is not all on them they throw little temper tantrums and cry “discrimination.”
It’s good to see one of them get put in their place for a change!
