Straight talk is something sorely missing from Washington politicians, and high-ranking Democrats are having difficulty defending their shifting positions on border security.
Many Americans are well aware that ex-President Barack Obama entered the Oval Office as a staunch border security advocate. He asked Congress for billions to stem the tide of illegal immigrants and criminals flowing into the country and Democrats overwhelmingly gave it to him. But as liberals saw declining support among working Americans, he seemed to embrace open borders and stopped building the wall he wanted in the first place. Obama is not alone on this flip-flop.

Hypocrisy is not a new phenomenon in the Washington swamp. But the level that “resist” and “obstruct” Democrats have taken it to oppose all things Trump is a radical departure from doing the people’s business. It’s important for everyday Americans to recognize that Schumer holds sway over just about every Senate Democrat and they vote his whims.
