Every time a Democrat politician tries to make themselves look relatable to normal people, they always come across looking like lizard people. It’s so cringe that you’d think someone would pull them aside and tell them to just stop faking it.
They can’t help themselves, though.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) did it again last weekend with a Father’s Day tweet that he ended up taking down later.
Schumer is obviously trying to pretend that he’s being the good dad and barbecuing on Father’s Day, but it comes across as so cringey that it’s almost unbelievable.
He might as well have tried to go to the gun range, because he literally doesn’t know how to cook.
And why should he? He’s a wealthy elitist. Cooking is a job for the servants!
He didn’t want to pass up the chance for a photo op, though, so he had someone take a picture of him pretending to grill some cheeseburgers. He got mocked so badly that he later took the tweet down.
It was like that time when Elizabeth Warren tried to make herself look normal by drinking a beer in her kitchen. She managed to swallow a little bit of it, but it was obvious from her facial expression that she’d never tasted beer before in her life, and she was slightly worried that she’d just drank some trailer park poison.
Why do the lizard people even bother trying?
