California’s Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom has sued President Donald Trump over his recent tariffs on Mexico, Canada, and most importantly, China, arguing that the president “lacks the authority” to enact them.
The lawsuit demands that a federal court pause the tariffs from being enforced against these countries along with the 10% base tariffs that Trump has placed on every country.
Newsom and the Democrat Party argues that the law the president is relying on — the International Economic Emergency Powers Act — has never been used before to justify tariffs, and that Trump needs Congressional authorization for actions with such broad economic consequences.
At the end of the day, the key takeaway here is that Gov. Newsom is trying to sabotage Trump’s trade war… just as we’re on the brink of winning it.
Why? Well for a while now, we’ve known that the Chinese communist Party (CCP) has managed to seriously infiltrate the Democratic party to gain influence over American politics – and Newsom might be the worst of the worst when it comes to that.
His ENTIRE career in politics has been linked to the Chinese, dating back to 2004 when Newsom was mayor of San Francisco and he cozied up to CCP officials – including a man named Han Zheng, the current Vice President of China – in exchange for more political capital.
In 2022 he voted a bill that would prevent the Chinese government from buying up critical American farmland in his state. In 2023 he vowed to make his state into a “long-term, stable, and strong partner” for Chinese leader Xi Jinping.
This guy is an absolute puppet for China’s communist regime, trying to help them destroy America from the inside.
That alone should be enough to warrant the dismissal of this B.S. lawsuit…
